“Not a boutique.”

We were disappointed by this hotel, not a boutique and off-the-beaten path. The rooms were dated and could be cleaner (especially bathroom). Everything about this hotel was average, top to bottom. Didn't use many amenities because the hotel was our "base camp" for other activities. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Was pleasantly surprised to see local Thai art displayed in lobby and public areas.

Two adults with three young children (7, 6, 4).

“Not bad but a little way out of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

In a good location for transportation (just off the main road) but some distance from the city centre, it is near to some large out of town shopping centres, the most recent of which opened earlier this year. The room was excellent, as were the staff. Stayed there on election day in July 2011, and very few other guests: ate in the hotel restauarnt as most city centre restauarants were closed, but the food was not brilliant.

“poor choice for us|”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2011

booked hotel for 2 night stay. hotel is outside of the city and next to a construction of a new shopping center. the hotel was almost empty the week-end we were there. we booked a city view room. we looked out a a bunch of wooden shutters and the backyard of junk. the rooms on the first night were musty, not used often. the breakfast was ok but get there early. food was okay the fried eegs are fried all at the same time and then sit on the counter....the second evening our rooms smelt like tobacco smoke and the sheets also. i do not recommend this hotel. look for something closer to the center of town. hotel is over priced

“Enjoyed The 10 Day Stay... Staff made it For Me....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2011

Great Hotel, Very Spacious, Quiet Relaxing In the Day, Pool Side, Rooms spacious ,

House Keeping Team , Reception Staff, Waiting Team , all very Helpful , Friendly and accomadating....

A little far from town centre, but I like to Walk...so did not mind.....
Only One problem I can think of.... listed on some sites as having Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi, None present there when I stayed , prehaps a management response..

Would Recommend...............

“Perfect hotel for a visit to Chiang rai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 February 2011

The hotel is about 4km from the centre of town. However this wasn't a problem for us. The hotel is spacious with beautiful gardens and a large bathroom and bedroom. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the night bazaar each night which is handy but a Tuk tuk is easily organized for 80baht.
The pool area is very relaxing with free wifi. I definitely recommend the 400 baht 2 hour massage by the pool!
They are building a big mall
Next to the hotel which will be good for the hotels area
