The hotel is on fairly nice grounds and offers an inexpensive option in Chiang Rai. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. On the downside, the hotel is quite far from town, requiring transport to go to the night market or other options inside town. The hotel also seems to be heavily used by tour groups, which can mean that people from one nationality can predominate at any point of time at the hotel. Breakfast is adequate, but nothing special.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This hotel has no particular charm and can be see as a huge factory.
The service is rather poor, we had an electrity issue and it tooks forever to get it solved. The second night we stayed there, they were hosting some kind of parties and music has been played until 1 or 2 am...
The breackfast was just ok...
This is far from the city center but you can get a tuk tuk for less than 100 baht so this is not really an issue...
However, this hotel is not very expensive, and is fairly clean. Therefore, i would recommend it shouldn't you want to spend to much money...

Very big, very average hotel. Looks beautiful from the outside, but the rooms are a bit outdated and noisy. Restaurant was not very good.

Huge hotel complex with a very cold, factory like atmosphere.
Rooms are spacious and well furnished.
Because of the concrete corridors, a lot of noise if other guests pass by your room with rollers.

Too far from town to have dinner anywhere else then in the hotel.

Avoid buffet restaurant at any price: almost cold food of poor quality at an inflated price. Several members of our group got ill after eating here.
The garden restaurant next to the pool however is pretty good at reasonable prices.
