If your looking for a modern hotel with wonderful large rooms that is peaceful, then this is it. We had a room on the ground floor that had its own private patio garden, king bed, spa bathroom with rain shower, and small desk area and living room. I recommend the ground floor over the other rooms, as they only have a small balcony. Breakfast was wonderful and we loved the cocktail lounge upstairs to watch sunset.
Two wonderful pools "one quiet ,and one active". All the dinners and lunches we had were excellent. Very quiet here which we liked. If you want night life you can take a complimentary shuttle that leaves a few times a day to Hua Hin. lots to do there and I recommend and going to Monkey Mountain...very unusual. And if you want to splurge I would stay in the villas which is 400 a night. The villas have your own pool...not a plunge either a large pool and the villas consist of two separate buildings. One living space with bar, living room, office, bathroom and the other building is your master suite. Completely private with your own gated yard and patio furnishing. "Exquisite" You would easily pay a few thousand a night for this villa in America....Great deal and there is a queen bed they can bring for you which you can put in the other building if you have kids and still have your privacy.

We stayed over christmas and we were very impressed as we had our doubts as the design was not to the traditional thai style whicj we prefer.We had booked a Horizon room forgetting they were not on the ground floor.After the first night we asked at reception if it was possible to chsnge to a ground floor room as i have trouble with stairs.We were upgraded at no extra charge to a garden room which was excellent.The rainshower lived up to its reviews.Plus the size of the room was enormous.Bed very comfy.We asked for just a sheet on the bed as the duvet was nice but too warm for us.As the hotel was not full we found it lovely and peaceful.
The chill out pool was very quiet.Being brought water & fruit to our sunbeds either at the pool or the beach was a very nice touch.The staff were very good and very helpful.Breakfast had everything you required.Complimentary afternoon had a different twist every day.We met the english Manager at the christmas cocktail party he was very nice.It is a small world as we both came from the Birmingham area.I think the only downside is that the hotel is rather remote But the hotel complimentry shuttle bus to Hau Hin in the evening was great.My husband went out a bike supplied by the hotel even given a bottle of water to take with him.We very much look forward to returning soon.

One of the most beautiful modern hotels in Thailand, it is certainly worth a visit if you are a design-phile. The beach is not great, so expect that you will be spending your time enjoying one of the two pool areas (one lively, the other relaxed) and appreciating the beautiful design of your room & its sensational bathroom.
Service was lacking which I put down to international management which has inhibited the Thai-ness.
Spa was gorgeous, great service and wonderful massage.
Breakfast buffet was an indulgence, very good, very European. Food generally good and wonderfully presented (though service deathly slow).
Definitely worth staying a night or two (max).

We booked a private villa house for a family with 2 kids. We enjoyed our private pool (11 x 4m). The rooms were equipped with domotic lightning, apple TV, Samsung let screens, amazing showers, ...
The kids enjoyed it from start to end. The food was amazing: local Thai food with fresh ingredients, home made pizza, great kidsburgers, lovely spaghetti Carbonara, ... Last but not least: we love this modern type of hotel architecture. The only minus was the high price. Despite the price, we will come back!
