I just got back from a trip to Koh Samui/Chaweng Beach with my 3 girlfriends! we had the best time! We had originally booked the standard bunglows but we got there early in the morning so they asked if we wanted to upgrade and go to our room straight away, so we ended up upgrading and paying i think around 1200 BHT per night which we thought was still very cheap. The rooms were very nice and had a queen bed, hot shower and were quite spacey with a nice big verandah too. The resort is located right on the beach in Chaweng Beach and very close to everything, shops, nightlife too. The lady who checks you in and looks after the place was just lovely and always accommodated us! and the breakfast at the beachfront restaurant was excellent, as well as very cheap! Bacon and eggs were about $3....

They also have a really nice pool which overlooks the beach too.. and the place that everyone hangs out at night, the ark bar is about 20 metres walk from the resort, so a great place to go if you are wanting to go out with your friends and have a great time!

All in all, we thought this place was awesome and so good for the price, we will definately be heading back there!

We paid BTH1000.- per night for a doubleroom on the 2nd floor which we thought good value.

If available take a room closer to the sea and on the 2nd floor.
Located in the centre of Chaweng beach.

Resort has it's own and important CLEAR swimming pool.

Reception is nice and polite, especially young lady - Nath.

One BIG MINUS - if you want to rent a scooter, don't do it on Coral Resort, guys will try to cheat you in all possible ways.
