“Fantastic Sunsets”

I'm watching one of those sunsets now as I write this.

We ended up at Jetwing Blue after being overbooked by booking.com into the Jetwing Sea. We were initially transferred to the Jetwinf Auyerveda Villas but as we had wanted to stay on the beach I asked to be transferred to Blue. Reluctantly, and after several discussions with Jetwing staff we were moved.

Blue is a nice beach resort type hotel, fine if you are into that, and the staff are excellent.We had a lovely room overlooking the sea and access to the full hotel amenties.

We only ate breakfast which is a standard large hotel type buffet, nothing inspiring, but fresh and a break from the many varieties of eggs I had even throughout Sri Lanka!

This is certainly a good stop off point arriving in or leaving the island as it is only 20 mins from the airport. Just remember the sun tan lotion on the last day as the sun is fierce. I didn't...

“Relax on Sandy Beaches”

Me and my wife spent a night on Jetwing Blue during first week of December. We were offered a welcome drink and towels on arrival and the check in was quick. We booked a Deluxe Double Room, yet they upgraded us to a Family Room ( I didn't object, since it was more spacious).

Yet, I would prefer a room with more sea view. However, the room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed a 'Club sandwich'' in the evening through Room service (which was delicious). Yet, our stomachs were full; so couldn't taste much of the dinner afterwards.

The Dinner, B'Fast was Buffet style with local dishes as well as International dishes.

We saw many tourists from different parts of the world in the hotel; but few locals including ourselves. Yet, all staff was courteous enough to help us whenever we request anything.
Everybody seem to enjoy relaxing under the coconut trees in the morning hours after having a bath/swim at the hotel pool.

I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone who like to have a relaxing stay.

We stayed at Jetwing Hotel during X'mas. The Best hotel ever. Spacious room, swimming pool & Gym. All in excellent condition and service. Food was great. Special programs during X'mas was great (The X'mas carols). Friendly staff and thanks to the General Manager Hyacinth very kind.
Can recommend to any one as a real five star hotel. - SS
