We came back here for the second time, to this nicely done boutique hotel, with great staff. Its build in an old printers and they have kept the old caracter well. Floors are a bit thin therefore but nothing to really worrie about. We occupied five rooms and everyone was satisfied. The location is very nice in the middle of the fort, and one day we also went to their hotel frangipani of the same owner and with similar friendly staff, for a nice day on the lovely beach near tapa, 20 minutes outside galle.

The Fort Printers was one of the best hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka - the staff were amazing and could not have been more welcoming - my four young children loved them all. The location doesn't get any better and the food was the best we had during our 3 week holiday. I researched all of the hotels inside Galle Fort and then went to visit them during our stay - we definitely chose the best place to stay in and I would rate The Fort Printers in my top 5 hotels in the world.

My husband and I stayed for a few days over Christmas and cannot rate the place highly enough. The rooms are fantastic and very large, only slight problem is the lack of hot water. There is a lovely courtyard restaurant which served the best lobster ihave ever eaten. Last but no least the staff were fantastic, the best we experienced in Sri Lanka!

We found this to be the best hotel we stayed in for our Sri Lankan holiday. The Fort Printers is truly a wonderful, charming boutique hotel. Our room was perfect, beauifully furnished and appointed and very clean.The manager and all the staff were very helpful and extremely friendly . Dining at the restaurant is a must , excellent food, great menu, fantastic service and wonderful ambience. We found hotel to be very quite and serene , we loved our 3 night stay !!! Highly recommend !!! Please stay here!!!
