the hotel has perfect location with sea views from its three sides. you can enjoy sea views from rooms, restaurant and even when swimming in the pool. i like it very much. staff is very friendly. rooms are very spacious. the lobby is very big. the hotel has also arrange dinner on the beach. best value for the money.

This was our first visit to Srilanka and first sight at Taj Bentota was really beautiful.After a long journey of 8 hours it was a pleasant sight. The check-in was fast , rooms were ready even though the hotel was full, the staff was pleasant.On the day of our arrival the sea was rough so we were unable to enjoy the beach.The next day we enjoyed the beach.The spa is excellent . The food is exotic except in the the chines restaurant where service is slow ,the quantity of food is in very small portion and as the restaurant is understaffed the service is of not Taj level.The swimming pool is good except the life guard who is arrogant and unfriendly.

you can't complain about your stay in this hotel. location is nice so it's interior. stuffs are friendly. food is excellent and the buffet spread is awesome. the time beside pools are really memorable. don't forget sun screen lotion. only complaint is in regard to the gym, with very inadequate machinery but the stuffs are friendly.

Taj Exotica Hotel was my favorite Hotel in Down south & that was my first choice in Bentota. but unfortunately i was thoroughly disappointing with the service of Hotels staff at the Valet park,i was coming from Galle straight to Taj hope to have my lunch with my wife & also want spend the day & parked my car near the valet desk & went to the front office & yhey told me that i can only have the Lunch & we cant use the pool...any i was pretty OK with that & heading to the restaurant...suddenly a hotel staff came to me & told to park the vehicle some where down & walk up again without giving me the service of valet parking & they were telling me that they are giving that facility only for the in house guest... God i am also paying guest & i have stayed many occasions in this Hotel & after receiving a such a third class service i never ever wanted to step to this hotel again....even a Customer pays a Rs 100/- or Rs 10000 no one can treat a customer in a different way....Customer is the King of any Business & specially in travel trade...so the Top management of Taj should looking to this matter & better to get suitable action soon...other wise no point of having a beautiful hotel with such a a awful people around...
