This villa is really stunning. There are only 5 or 6 rooms all with large balconies overlooking the pool and nice large and clean rooms. Very relaxing place and just over the railway line and road to the great beach in Bentota. The best thing was the food. We stayed 4 nights and then went back for another 4 nights and only ate out once. They will prepare anything that you want to eat and nothing is too much trouble with all fresh ingredients and was by far the best food we had in Sri Lanka.

We stayed at the Panchi Villa for 6 nights and cannot fault this wonderfully pleasant and relaxing stay. From entering the villa to leaving everyone made us feel very welcome. The Owner said treat it like your home and he was not wrong, staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable.
The rooms were immaculate and the four poster bed was a treat. The balconies were larger than you usually get and they all overlooked a very clean, pleasant pool in the surroundings of a well kept garden.
From breakfast to dinner the food was exceptionally good, fresh and always well presented and served with a smile. We found the meals very reasonably priced, we have eaten in many hotels and restaurants in Sri Lanka.
Owner was always very reliable in organising Tuk-Tuks and trips around the South.
Panchi Villa is well postioned to access the railway system and places of interest.
We would definately recommend Panchi Villa for that personal touch and much better quality and service than the larger 5 star hotels we have stayed at in Sri Lanka.

We found this hotel by luck, and what a prize, it looks new and has beautiful wooden balustrades with huge private balconies overlooking the garden and lovely pool the owner was very welcoming and we had wonderful meals there. It is near the railway so we can hear the trains, but they dont seem to run at night, it was certainly no problem for us. It is very close to the beach just across the railway and road, and the beach is super.Every one was very helpfull and friendly.

we can recommend it, although it is not next to the beach the owner will bring and take you to the beach wit his tuktuk. Some noise of the trafic and trains.
Big rooms, new, well maitained and clean.
