“So many problems with Airtel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

Airtel is about 15 minutes from Seoul's Incheon International Airport and should be a good place for a long transit. Unfortunately, there are a host of problems with the facility. My review is a series of questions for the management: Why does the entire hotel reek of cigarette smoke? Why are there electric wires hanging from the wall where they connect to fixtures? Why are there bars of used soap from previous guests in the shower and sink? Why is the mattress as hard as the floor? Why are there cigarette burns in the furniture? Why is there no window to see outside? Why is there no WiFi (in fairness, there is wired Internet--but there is no way to sit and use it because of the location of the connection point)? I have included photos with my review to illustrate some of these problems. I paid over $100 for a hotel room here. I was ripped off.

“Great place for a layover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 April 2011 via mobile

Stayed here one night for a layover from Nepal on route to Canada. Arrived in Seoul late, at 11:30pm and still received free airport pickup from the hotel in under 15 minutes.
Staff was friendly and the lady at the front desk spoke great English.
Room was large and the bathroom had a HUGE walk-in shower.
Located close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Great place to lay over for a night.

“Ok for a short stay close to the airport”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 April 2010

I spent two nights on this hotel during my volcation (got five extra nights in Korea due to vulcanic ash) in Korea. Our group got booked to this hotel by staff from our initial hotel.

Rooms were spacious my room had two beds, a twin and a double (large enough for three persons). Bathroom was a bit shady. Floor heating made entire room too warm for a good sleep if one wants to sleep without air conditioning. Also noise from the streets comes in too loudly. Hotel did not offer breakfast, but you could walk into other hotels nearby to get some. Hotel offers free transportation from and to the airport.

Hotel is ok (it is relatively cheap) if you need to stay close to the airport and just need a roof over your head for a night or two. For longer stays I would recommend a hotel from Incheon downtown or Seoul.

Hotel is located in New Airport Town on a same island as the Incheon airport. Area is small and filled with a small hotels, restaurants, and bars. You can walk around all streets of this 'town' in an hour. There was a lot of construction work going on, so I guess the place is getting bigger. There is a train+underground connections to Incheon downtown (0,5 hour) and to Seoul (~2 hours).

“Ordinary”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

Stayed here for one night on way home. Disappointing end to a great trip in Italy.
Rooms are clean but the hotel looks like it good do with renovating. Area not that inviting.
One employee great and tried to be helpful whilst the guy on reception was very surly. When you asked him a question he wasn't helpful and would usually mutter to himself after. This is one of the hotels Korean Air use for their stopovers, the other hotel they use which they put us into on the way out was the Hyatt, totally different class of hotel...so watch out if you're doing a stopover.
