I have made booking online for Commodore Hotel in Busan because other good location hotels were unavailable.

This hotel is Chinese-themed decoration for the entire hotel. Air-condition is not working properly, so we called technician guy to fixed. He came and fixed it but it wasn't cool. So, we just leave it like that and open window instead.

Internet is free in the lobby only. For in-room internet, you have to pay extra.

The location of this hotel is look like we can walk to Busan Station, but in fact, it is quite far and also up-hill, down-hill. However, taxi fare in Busan start from 2,200 won, which is an okay price.

After all the positive feedback I expected more of it.

Pro:
-Staff was friendly and really tried to do their best.
-The hotel is close to the Busan station and Busan harbour that's why I chose it. (Came by train, and would leave by ferry)

Contra:
-I came after visited a friend finally after 1am to this hotel. I noticed that it was a smoking room but didn't want to change it at this later hour still. I everytime clearly request a no smoking room. Next day I changed it, it was not a problem.
-So many staff in the hotel could not speak English at all! It was really terrible sometimes.
-The airconditioner was old and had a smell like dust. Really not comfortable! Also the fridger was loud and there were so many lights which you couldn't turn off!

Pros:

1. Close by taxi to downtown shopping/dining

Cons:
1. VERY small and dark room that reeked of cigarette smoke, although we asked for non-smoking room and were on a "non-smoking floor."
2. Fee for internet access.

This hotel has an unbeatable view on Busan's commercial harbor. For people who like watching the movement of cargo ships, this is one of the best options I have been to, along with Hong Kong harbor view hotels.

Due to the hotel's height, I did not hear any noise in my upper floor room. Rooms are fairly spacious, and furnished in line with the hotel's category.

The hotel's location is downtown, good for business, but not for beach activities which take place at Haeundae beach, where most of the Busan resort hotels are.
