Stayed here for two days whilst passing through the city. It's a first-class hotel in every respect, lots of attention to the details. Great club lounge on the 33rd floor. Very attentive and well-trained staff. Good value for money at $280 a night, considering that breakfast, internet, and evening drinks are all on the house. Great location in the heart of the city, you can walk to everything.
Hotel restaurants up on the top floors are VERY expensive - check the prices before you make the reservation, or else you might get a very unpleasant surprise when the bill comes. The food is great and the service is perfect, but still, some of the full course meals are $100+ per plate.
Pay careful attention when it comes to checkout time. The hotel uses a credit card service that converts the bill (published in Korean Won) to the home currency of your credit card, at a 3% surcharge. They will try to slide this one by you without your explicit authorization. If you have been burned by this trick before (I was, while shopping at the Lotte-owned department store attached to the hotel), you might notice it. If you have not been burned like this before, well, you are going to get burned, without the hotel staff asking for your explicit permission to do the currency conversion to your home currency when they process the credit card charge.
