I have stayed in this property a number of times over the past 5 years. The rooms are nice and roomy, the bathrooms very well maintained. The views of the beach and the sea are spectacular from most of the rooms (I have never had a room without a view). The property has many restaurants, all of which are pricey, and the breakfast buffet is outrageously expensive. (I don't usually get upset about the pricing, but the last trip they wanted to charge extra for espresso drinks in a buffet they are charging $30 a head!).
There are a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance, and Busan is famous for its seafood! Most impressive during the warm months is the sea front 'restaurant row' which is a line of tents with aquariums and small tables. Talk about fresh fish!
There are traditional Korean bbq restaurants for meat lovers nearby, and also several western style restaurants and a couple of Starbucks nearby.
The hotel is pricey and comes off a bit cold, maybe because of somewhat limited english skills of most of the staff. The casino and large shopping area also probably add to the 'chill'.
Overall this is less expensive than staying in the nearby Westin or other international brands, so I return every trip to Busan.
