I stayed for three nights on an executive floor. The room was nice and I had a great view of the beach. I think the cost of the room was a bit pricey for the actual amenities, however, my trip coincided with BIFF so maybe they bumped up the price. I liked being on the beach and watching people swim in the morning. Although the weather was very nice, I could barely put my feet in the freezing water. I also liked the location of the hotel. I was able to take walks along the beach path and too Hundae Market. I would stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. This hotel is located in front of the most popular beach in Busan, and from the outside, it has a very modern look. However, the hotel is completely outdated. The rooms smell of cigarettes and the street noise is terrible. I dined at the hotel restaurant, and it proved to be a big mistake. The buffet dinner costs me close to US$ 50, and it was that great. Average in every sense.

The hotel could have been a 4 if it lowered its tariff rate at 40-50%

For a beach front property, there could be a lot of potential.

Location, comfortable bed and staff service were its best marks.
Low marks on no free internet, not up to date furnishings (they still use a boxed tv, no exhaust bathroom et al...)

The Novotel Ambassador in Haeundae beach is old and tired. I have stayed here on numerous occassions. The bathrooms and bedrooms need to be upgraded. The furniture and fixtures needs replacing. The airconditioner is never effective if you have a beach view. The price is on line with the expensive hotels in Pusan especially due to the great location but there is no value to be had.
