Imagine our shock at finding out there was no ice machine in the entire hotel!!!! Yes, there was an ice cube tray in the fridge, but it fell far short of our needs for refilling the cooler. The place was really run down, and I felt bad for the girl at the front desk b/c it was so flippin HOT in the lobby and in the halls. No extra pillows were available either. And their pet deposit was outrageously priced at $27. All the other pet friendly hotels we stayed at coming across the country only ran $10-$15, and one of the hotels didn't even require a pet deposit.

Room was acceptably clean-barely. Sheets had an old stain, one which was probably set in and, hopefully, not the result of being used and unwashed. Linens are cheap, cheap, cheap. The cloth recliner was absolutely disgustingly stained. To combat smell, the room had a plug in air freshener which saturated the air with a nauseating scent-one which you could taste. Practically no in-room amenities. You have to ask for such things as shampoo. Despite their claims, there is no way the bed was a queen. I have a queen bed at home and this was no queen. They also only have one bed to a room, so woe to you if you're traveling with more than just a spouse. Price was good, the result of a well known name your own price website, However, knowing what I now know, I'm going to either up my bid or just suck up the cost and at least know the hotel I'm getting up front. If you're really hard pressed for a room and this is the only available option, I would still recommend you keep driving and find something else.

I stayed at this property for three weeks in May 2010. Overall my experience was adequate. A number of reviewers on here have complained about the cleanliness and amenities offered. While I agree these are substandard, one has to realize the quality is reflected in the price paid. For what I paid, I would say the motel was adequate. I personally had no problems with my room. Had I paid Hilton or W prices, I would be enraged, but cannot complain given the relatively low cost.

The sleeping area, kitchen, and bathroom were all adequate. I found the front desk staff to be mostly helpful. I don't know if it was me or if this is typically the case but there were a lot of "shady" characters here. I would walk down the hall and hear raucous in a few of the rooms - things that were quite startling actually. The laundry room could use an additional washer/dryer as they appeared to be short of capacity (not to mention a bit pricey). By far my biggest complaint - and I cannot complain enough about this - is the UNFORGIVABLY slow internet. It is truly worse than dial-up, which is problematic for me given I worked out of my room a lot. This is the single attribute that will induce me to stay elsewhere next time in the area - it was just pathetic. Other than this, the hotel is okay. No thrills, no gym, no pool, or anything to really do here, but then again you get what you pay for.

Well, If you want a cheap nasty old room, this will do. It was by far the absolute sorst hotel I ever paid money for. Putting aside the rank moldy rotten fish smell, the rooms were just unkept.
The rooms are cleaned once a week by the staff, however if you would like, for an extra $10 per request you can have your room cleaned. But, even then the house keeper does a half [--] job. If you would like clean towels and sheets only, it's just an extra $5. When the house keeper did actually clean my room, she picked up the dirty towels, you get 2 for a week, and refolded them and hung them up. I know this ecause the one i used to shave had the blood from cutting my chin when I shaved.
My bed was remade with the old sheets on. This was obvious by the lack of folding creases and wrincles on the side I sleep on. The other side was still smooth.
Also, NO shampoo or conditioner. It has a coffee pot, but you have to buy the coffee from the vending machine. When I asked the desk for coffee they said they couldn/t hand it out.
You do get 2 plates, cups, and pair of silverware. They need washed before use beccause it looked like they were just put back in the cabinets. Maybee the lack of soap was the problem.
I was not able to get my internet to work and I called the front desk for the password. The lady there had to call a guest staying there and ask him to call. He was there for 2 weeks and had calls every night from the desk asking him to help other guests log on.
I would like to say something good about the place. It was across from the College camups. So at least across the street was clean civilization.
