We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 2 years to attend meetings. Two years ago the hotel looked fresh and newly renovated. It is starting to look tired, especially the carpet in the hallways. There is only one set of elevators servicing an entire floor. This time we were given a room farthest from the elevator. If you have any walking issues ask for a room close to the elevators. The closer rooms seemed to get cleaned earlier also. The rooms far from the elevators face the front of the building. It can be noisy when guests are entering hotel or employees are chatting at night in front of the hotel even from the fifth floor.
The staff at the hotel is pleasant and friendly. Coffee and tea were complimatery in the lobby in the morning as was hot apple cider in the evenings. They seem to want to please in every way except when it comes to the internet, which is not provided fpr free in the guest rooms. There is a business center off the lobby which you can use and print boading passes.
The breakfast and lunch they provided our group with was fine. Meeting rooms were OK too.
There is shopping and restaurants nearby.

stayed here last minute, wasn't a problem getting a room, also got a huge government discount as the boyfriend is a firefighter!! yaaaay!

Very Clean and the beds were soooo comfortable and had so many pillows it was a great stay!

the only con was that the maid in the morning KEPT knocking on the door!!!
once at 8 something in the morning !!!
we had an extended checkout and then she knocked again at around 10 when regular checkout wasnt until noon!
i had to tell her that we wouldnt be out before 1 and to come back after then, that was a little annoying.

Lobby is cozy,free wi-fi ,nice fitness area and pool, friendly staff and several computers free of charge unlike the ALBANY MARRIOTT that charges for everything!

This Marriott is located very close to the Albany airport. Our room was clean and large with wifi. There was a gym and pool I could use while I washed our clothes in the hotel washer and dryer. Breakfast is expensive and not worth the price.
