Stayed here while attending an orientation for our son who's going to SUNY this term, so the location right across the street from campus couldn't have been better. We booked a two-bedroom suite which was perfect for us. Reception was friendly and efficient, although the lobby had an unpleasant smell - as if someone may have gotten sick & tried to clean up. (The next day the smell had improved). The two bedrooms in the suite were on the small side, one with a desk, one without, and access to the shared bathroom was off the sitting/living room area. The efficiency kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (with four-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, pots/pans, dishes, etc.). Even though the rooms faced Washington Avenue, they were extremely quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Had fun one night playing "Monopoly" - one of several games and movies available at the front desk - which we played on the dining table in our suite. The complimentary breakfast was served in an uninviting room off of the main lobby, but it was easy to take our food back to our suite to enjoy. Overall, we were pleased with staying here. It's not often that you can find a two-bedroom suite that gives everyone room & privacy at a reasonable rate. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers.
