Seychelles Islands are just wonderful by their own natural beauty, this hotel however has made it an even better expericence, we enjoyed every second we spent on the hotel beaches, we felt really as being alone in the island. (accessible only by sea) yet the hotel has a courtesy boat that takes the guests several times a day back and forth to the island's main jetty. Unlike other reviews we found the food service of great quality, and all the staff very friendly. we are very happy and thankful to NEC for the great vacation we had!

We had very high expectations in terms of luxury, food and service from a 4 star rated and priced hotels in the Seychelles...
Reality was very disappointing ! No luxury at all, mediocre food, witih even questionnable hygiene standards...and demotivated, unfriendly staff...with the exception of a few...
Old rooms, particularly the bathrooms needed urgent renewal.
Boathouse not operational, boutique hardly ever open.
No TV on the rooms, but a common TV room...(old cinema style...depressing atmosphere)
Hotel is not well kept...with litter around the walking trail...beach chairs laying around...
There are far better 'value for money' hotels in Praslin...
the state this hotel is currently in (October 2011) and the poor service they offer, hardly requires 3 stars and can certainly not charge what it is currently charging...as this is a real rip off !
Hotel seemed particularly popular with Italians....as Hotel management is Italian...

My husband and I needed some time for ourselves and decided on this hotel based on good reviews and recommendations and we have no regrets! We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and had the best time of our life. If you want to get a way from it all, this is a great place. You have to take a boat to get to the island, which we didn't mind as we enjoyed all the scenic views on the way. When we arrived, the basic rooms were occupied so the owners were nice enough to give us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony which had a stunning view. The rooms were clean and spacious and the food they served were always good, not to mention everybody was so warm and helpful. It was one of the most memorable trips for me and my husband and I'd gladly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Seychelles.

It is difficult to put it in words... but I had never been in such a nice and welcoming Resort, even though I travel to Seychelles once a year. I was surprised by the kindness and availability of the staff, apart from the beauty and quietness of the place itself.
The island is just incredible: the beaches, the sand, the rocks and the nature.. all seems to be like in Paradise!
...and I am already planning my next trip there!!
