Stay at the hotel for four days proved that every dollar paid was worth and more.
The hotel has a magnificent view, excellent food, clean room exceptionally superior service. Every request was filled within a very short period of time. There is no doubt to go back to the hotel at every opportunity. If you want to combine a good sleep, good food and rest is the right place

“a excellent hotel - with a amazing view over the lake”

we stayed from may 10th for 3 nights, and we got a balcony room, even so we ordered a standard room, but due of space we got this lovely room, it was overlooking the lake , we woke up early in the morning - so we where so lucky to see the sun come up behnin the Gholan hights, it was amazing.
The breakfast was wonderful, the waiter was so friendly, so was the people at the desk.
I sure want to go again.

“Nasty Owners and Staff, Run down rooms, and lots of buses”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2010

This hotel has seen better days a long time ago. The rooms are run down, need painting, etc. Lots of buses of tours going in and out. But the worst part was the absolutely uncooperative and nasty owners and desk staff. Their immediate response to every questions was, "NO." They were argumentative and lied to us. The only person who was hospitable was the bartender. The location was awful. There were no restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast was average. In general, we would not recommend Tiberias at all.

“Nice view shame about the Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2010

I stayed here for three nights earlier this week.
The room I was given was located at basement level with a verandah overlooking the Sea of Gallilee.
The room was shabby, poorly lit and smelled of damp, the bed actually felt damp too.
The bathroom was in dire need of a revamp with mould and black deposits covering great areas of the tiles.

There were four of us there working nearby, when it came to checking out the fool behind the desk couldn't complete our bills correctly and actually tried to refund me a sum by using a colleague's credit card.

“A pleasant hotel with great staff and a good view.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2009

I stayed here as part of a group on a tour. We were met with a welcome drink and the staff arranged for the luggage to be dispatched very efficiently for the size of our group. We arrived at night and were so pleased with the commanding views of the sea of Galilee when we awoke. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and well proportioned with tv. There was no hairdryer, tissues or soaps etc but we were given clean towels each day and the rooms were kept well. Meals were on a self service basis and there was a wide variety of salads, breads, soups and some deserts. The staff were excellent - very helpful and attentive. One of our group left their handbag in the dining room with everything in it from money to passports etc and it had been kept aside for her with everything intact! We made use of the pool, steam room etc and these were well maintained and very clean. If I had to say something negative about this hotel I would only be able to say that I would have rathered have a bigger fruit selection at meals. Remember that Shabbat means that there will be no fresh things prepared that day and the toaster is put away that day. Other foods were cooked in advance that day and kept hot. All in all, a very pleasant, clean hotel with very helpful and honest staff!
