We booked this hotel through our time share company, which promises 4 to 5 star accomodation. I had seen photos on the web, and thought they looked ok, albiet a little tired looking, also although there where no reviews, the description given by various booking agents seemed very promising. It was nearly midnight when we arrived, and was allocated a room on the 8th floor. At first glance we could see that the decor and furnishings had seen better days, and the carpets were stained and threadbare. the kitchen area was fairly clean, however I could see that plates had been put back dirty, and the glassess had lipstick marks on them, also the fridge had part of its handle missing. I was initially dissapointed, however when we woke the next morning, I was greeted by the most amazing view I have ever seen from a hotel balcony, the sea of gallilee. We did go on to have a good holiday, and hence got used to the shabby accomodation, as the view seemed to compensate. The hotel really needs a refurb and updating, maybe then it may warrent its 4 star rating. I also want to add that be wary of the over zelous description of this hotels facilities, such as a welcome pack in the room and mini bar, as there was niether. Also the staff were not that helpful, and mainley catered for jewish families, as the vast array of activities were all in hebrew. I would stay at this hotel again soley for the view you get, and its in a fairley good location
