“Most amazing food and views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

the new hotel wing was modelled on a standard 4* US hotel even down to the fitting. This means lots of room and a US standard bathroom.
Balcony view very nice. Free and guarded car parking.
Breakfast - well - the best I have ever eaten for taste - I'm not jewish but the lack of meat products was so compensated by the most wonderful egg and tomato hot food - to add to the pastries and fruit and the ....
The light pre shabbat meals were also very herbal and tasty.
Fair prices for wine.
Easy walk to small town centre - it also - unlike other nearby places is actuallu on the lake so you can pop down and dip your toes in - .

Room Tip: pay extra for lake view - tiberius not the prettiest of places - but the lake and the sunrise/sunset...

“Below average room and food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

Stayed here for 2 days and it was so-so. Rooms could have had carpets to make them cozier and the food and dining area left much to be desired. We had to pay for Internet and the connection was so slow. Totally not worth the Internet fee.

Good thing the sites in Tiberias made the stay in this hotel worth it.

“Rimonim Dream”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

We stayed here on our trip to Israel November 7-10. It's very comfortable, the staff is friendly, hospitable, and helpful, and speak good English, although we had made the effort to learn some Hebrew. The rooms face the Sea of Galilee. The food is uniquely and deliciously Israeli...lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and luscious breads. The entrees are interesting and fresh. Housekeeping service was immaculate and accommodating to our personal notes of request. The room was spacious enough, especially the bathroom. Price is reasonable also. They have a lovely deck and hot tub. Plus, Rimonim is located across from the shopping promenade. It's a couple blocks away, but shop early as all the reasonably priced stores close about 7.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a higher up room that faces the water. There are a few side rooms where you can s...

“Average accommodation, fantastic food”

We stayed here for five nights, on a nine night pilgrimage to Israel. The location was great, away from the noise of the center of Tiberias. The tower block had fabulous views of the Sea of Galilee. The bed clothing and towels could have been changed more often, but no major gripe. The staff at reception were very helpful. I personally had no interest in availing of the spa facilities, so I can't comment. The real jewel of this hotel - in stark contrast to its sister hotel in Jerusalem - is the food. A fabulous spread for both breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The choices are astounding and the food never failed to entirely satisfy. I'm not a culinary genius but I LOVED the food here.....
Also worth the sunrise and sunsets over the Sea of Galilee.

Room Tip: Not sure of the other 'wing' of the hotel, but we stayed in the high-rise bit.... We loved t...

“A no-nonsense down-to-earth tourism factory”

A no nonsense down-to-earth tourism factory

Twenty minutes walk along the grotty coastal road to the centre of town. A rather depressing 1970’s building with dark and basic, but clean and comfortable, bedrooms. The balconies are just big enough to fit one plastic chair. Good but unremarkable breakfast. This is a good value, low to mid-range hotel. We paid USD 120 for one night. To people who are not used to Israeli prices this might seem expensive in relation to what you get, but in Israeli terms this is what you get for that kind of money.
There is very much a low-market feel to the place. If you want something more luxurious, try the other Rimonim hotel which is in the town centre.
