“Aviv Holiday flat Tiberias”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

It is about Aviv Holiday Flat hotel in Tiberias.
The hotel is located very close to the Tiberias promenade, pier and nice food restaurants. Beautiful view of Lake Tiberias, Sea of Galilee. It is kitchen with dining summary, bedroom and bathroom, and balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel is very clean with good buffet breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Ho tel-aviv”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

I stayed in one of the apartments which was v basic, but of a good size and clean. Not sure the kitchen would be useful for cooking stuff. This is a cheap option so don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was good and location was reasonable.

“Not worth a visit: bad location, unfriendly staff and missing kitchen”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2011

We chose this Hotel because on the website where we booked it, it said that is was centrally located, has an equipped kitchen and internet. Nothing was correct, at least at the time of our visit! It is about 10 minutes from the Bus station, which is not that far, but Tiberias is not a big city. So essentially, it is towards the end of the city, located on a very loud and busy street (fortunately, our room was to the side so we didn't get the full brunt of the street noises). Secondly, the internet didn't work, no matter how often we asked the very unfriendly guy at the reception. He was also not interested in helping us. The third point, with was the most severe for us, there was no kitchen at the time of our visit, since it was undergoing 'renovation'. When we asked to have some milk heated for the baby, we were told that we should use the electric kettle, which was not working at all.
The only good thing was that the room was rather cleanish (if you didn't take a close look) and the shower was working.
Overall, we can't recommend the Hotel due to the location, the unfriendly staff and the missing kitchen.
On a side note: Tiberias is overall not worth the visit and the connection to the Jordanian border, which is rather close, is non-existent!

“Very good for the money.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2011

This hotel has everything that a 4 or 5 star hotel has but the prices are very reasonable. No more than $100 a night for a full room with 3 beds, kitchenette, balcony, cable TV, great bathroom and shower.

The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I have had and they offer a great variety of foods and beverages. The lobby is very inviting and the location of the hotel is the best. 5 minutes from the lake and 2 minutes from all the shops and restaurants in Tiberias. Overall I loved the hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same and very spacious.

“Good if you are on a tight budget”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 February 2011

I suppose we were staying in the hostel part. It is a good budget option, I guess the services corresponded the money. Breakfast was great (though everytime we can there was a terrible mess in the cafeteria). Staff friendliness and helpfulness depends on who is present. Rooms could be a bit cleaner. We had problems with the heating but the staff did try to repair it and offered us a different room. Overall it was ok.
