“Very Homely Place -Exceptional hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

-Quaint dated rooms but clean and cosy.
-Thorough and friendly intro and hosting, we felt like we where staying in someones home.
-Cerb parking.
-Exceptional breakfasts
-Located out of town in a quite safe area, but you need a car to reach the hotel.

We stayed in room 26, the wifi signal was very weak and there was a lot of light coming from small windows that didn't have curtains in the morning.

We paid 200nis for room and breakfast was an additional 25-50 nis.

Room doors close loudly.

“Great place with character”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Loved this place, nice and quiet location, close to Safed and Rosh Pina, not far from Tiberias / the Lake Kinneret. The owners are great and funny people who where very helpful. Good breakfast. Nice surprise for us: the hottub and sauna. Highly recommended.

“The Safed Inn quite literally saved my vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

On a poorly planned trip, I found myself scared, cold, and shivering in the lobby of the Safed Inn, begging them to have space for me to sleep. Luckily it wasn't a busy night, and Rikki was able to give me a warm, comfortable, immaculately kept room for the night, which is where I feel most places would have stopped. But Rikki is one of those amazing, warm, loving mothers-to-the-world, so once my bag was down, she took me back to her lobby bar, got me a small glass of her (extraordinary) house-made walnut liquor, sat me down with some brochures and a map, and made sure that not only my night, but my entire trip was repaired. For the rest of the trip I stayed in safe, affordable, perfect rooms let out by her vast network, all run by women who were kind and friendly and helpful. She got me a cheap cell phone rental so that I would be able to call all of my new friends if I got lost or into trouble, and helped me make sure I saw some of the best Israel has to offer. The trip before I met Rikki and Dov was an absolute disaster, and they completely turned it around. Rikki is a professional chef, so saying that breakfast was a revelation would STILL be an understatement. I will NEVER go back to Israel without revisiting the Safed Inn!

“A taste of old fashoned hospitality”

Safed was the highlight of our two week stay in Israel - it's a wonderful town, and the Safed Inn is a great base to explore the area from. The accommodation was clean and functional and better value than we saw anywhere else on our trip. As noted in the other reviews, the proprietors, Riki and Dov, were warm, accommodating, helpful and went out of their way to provide information and help that we needed. They ensured the rooms had been heated before we arrived, and the breakfasts were great - what a super experience !
