First of all there is no breakfast provided so Beit Yosef should change the name. Having said that, the accommodation we chose was outstanding. We stayed in the Serenity Suite which is located virtually next door to the Rimonim Hotel. The main room was the lounge/dining/kitchenette area which unfortunately had a glass door to the apartment next door. There was no sound insulation whatsoever and we heard everything from the guests next door. Fortunately they were out most of the time (as were we) and didn't bother us too much, but when they were there we certainly knew about it.
There were two bedrooms, a large bathroom and a tiny separate shower-room. Everything was beautifully and tastefully appointed. The apartment is set in a stone building with magnificent vaulted ceilings. It oozes charm and character. It had everything you would need from shampoos, heaps of towels, cutlery, crockery, tissues and even shoe polish. The kitchenette had a large fridge and a microwave. Even though it was January the weather was warm and we needed to use the aircondtioner, which also functions as a heater if required.
We were in Tsfat for Shabbat and the owner arranged for us to have our Friday night meal at the Rimonim Hotel. It was absolutely delicious and great value at 100 shekels each. The view and ambiance there was something we will always treasure. It was so convenient walking just 3 minutes back to our apartment. On Shabbat morning we loved walking around the town, hearing the prayers/singing, and soaking up the atmoshere. Everything was within walking distance from the apartment. We did notice several other apartments throughout the town with the Beit Josef name, some in better positions than others. We were very pleased with our choice of the Serenity Suite and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
