Agree with many other reviews
* breakfasts are amazing -- gourmet in taste, huge portions
* service is excellent
* huge, thick towels (very unusual for Israel) they change all towels every day
* excellent firm mattresses
* short walk (up a steep hill) to the historic section of town
* wonderful gardens in the yard -- full of birds and (this time of year) ripe pomegranates.
* unique decorations -- our room was full of Egyptian themed artwork
* strong wifi in the room and on the porch

Shulamit is a delightful host -- I wish we had a longer stay

A few notes:
* parking is tight here -- be prepared to leave your car nearby and walk
* there is no view from the property -- not an issue for us, but you should be aware that a fabulous view can be had by walking 5 minutes up the hill

Room tip: we stayed in room on the ground floor -- easier to walk outside and photograph birds

In addition to the best breakfast in Israel, Shulamit also offers a lovely place to stay in Rosh Pina.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with thoughtful touches everywhere. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and dried fruits - so sweet. The location in Rosh Pina is ideal. Shulamit herself is a wonderful and kind hostess. We hope to return soon!

We had such a wonderful time at Shulamit Yard. It's a very special place - not your typical B&B. It has a peaceful and homey atmosphere surrounded by nature, with the pampering details of a luxury hotel. One of the things that make this place so unique and special is Shulamit and her family - they are so friendly and welcoming, they truly make you feel at home and give this place that extra "something".
When we first arrived, Shulamit was just finishing preparing home-baked goods (like cakes, cookies, brownies, etc.) and the place smelled amazing and instantly made us feel excited to be there. She showed us to our rooms, which were absolutely lovely - impeccably clean, large but cozy, designed with unique furniture (both modern and vintage), and with a huge balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. We absolutely loved our room.
Then, there's the breakfast - WOW. Hands-down one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. One of the nice touches of the breakfast is the hand-made elements, like the fresh jam she makes and the homemade pastries and bread, and the blintzes and pancakes... everything was so delicious! It was really nice that we could go into the main area and munch on her amazing pastries and drink tea and coffee anytime we want. The main area also includes books in several languages, a piano, and many comfortable couches. There's also a pool if you want to dip in, but we didnt. Shulamit was also incredibly helpful in advising us on activities to do in the area - complete with giving us a map and brochures - thanks to her, we had an incredible time sightseeing in the area. Her patience is endless!
The one thing to keep in mind is that this place is designed to help you unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are no TVs and there's no gym - it's not that kind of hotel. We loved having the break from the TV but just be aware of that in case that's not what you're looking for. And we had trouble connecting to their wifi, but it didn't matter bc we have local cell phone plans. Also - this is not an adult-only accommodation (there can be young children).
But if you're looking for a beautiful and unique B&B to truly unwind and be pampered, this is definitely the place!! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Room tip: There are 8 rooms, 5 on the ground level and 3 on the upper level. 6 of the rooms face the garden and 2 of them face the courtyard. I would ask for a room facing the garden, and I prefer being on the upper level. But I'm sure all the rooms are great :)

Shulamit's yard is a hidden treasure- a sanctuary that is warm and beautifully kept.
We rarely revisit places as like to try new however here I will make an exception and look forward to returning- and the home made breakfasts are fabulous !

It is already the 4th stay at that wonderfully restored farmers mansion - this time I stayed in what used to be the farm's dairy and nowadays a luxurious room with a jacuzzi and a spacious bathroom. The colonial style of the rooms together with the generous hospitality and the rich breakfast served around the pool makes you really feel you got back in time to the good old days where people lived still close to nature.
