“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

The room i got was absolutely filthy. they haden't clean it in a long while. i found hair in my bed, in the shower, on the bathroom floor. the carpet had stains all over and so the seats. also the curtains were dirty. I have never been in such an embarassing situation. I had to sleep with my clothes on just because i arrived late and was very tired. the next morning they would not let me get the money back for the next 2 days that were already prepaid so I had to bargain for half an hour just to get a partial refund. the staff was very rude and unkind.
definitely not worth any price, simply don't go.

“A no-nonsense hotel for people who stay in Ramat Gan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2012. The office I visited is in Ramat Gan; thus it was a convenient, walking-distance location. The hotel is adequate, with clean rooms, decent breakfast selection and a friendly staff.

Room Tip: For business travelers and people who need to stay in Ramat Gan.

You have to ask for none smoking treatment room because they do not have none smoking once or at least people don't follow the rules. If you ask when you reserve a room emphasize why it is important that you get none smoking or a treated room. Ask for the floor with high speed internet in advance. The service is great, the location is great, you can take a bus to Tel Aviv, Taxies are available 24 hours, and the breakfast is not so fancy but more than enough and well served. They also have a parking garage for free.

“quiet peaceful and relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

last Friday and saturday,25/26 nov 2011 my partner and I spent a very relaxing and quiet weekend at the optima rimonim hotel in ramat gan, simply not wanting to spend a fortune, and also not to be too close to the usual weekend crush on the seaside of tel aviv's hotels.
it was a spur of the moment booking,we didn't need the meals,so apart from breakfast on sunday morning before check-out.it was "enough"..not over board, nothing spectacular, but well presented and looked nice.way above the standard continental B/F.service unobtrusive
and pleasant.the room,(we received an up-grade without asking) was huge, the fixtures and fittings more than standard, just the bathroom very old and in need of good repairs.the vent in the bathroom was rather noisy.amenities provided were more than adequite.nice hotel without frills at a good price

Room Tip: even if it is for couples without kids, worth the little extra to take the upgrade...extra or not...

“Poor service & facilities for affordable price”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

I spent one unpleasant night at this hotel that was chosen for two reasons:
1. location - at the center of Ramat-Gan (please note that it's NOT located in Tel Aviv)
2. affordable price

I made a reservation directly through the Rimonim hotels website in advance and asked for a quiet non-smoking room.
The room allocated to me was on 14th floor facing a noisy street. I was very disappointed by a strong smell of cigarette smoke at the room. In addition, the walls between adjacent rooms are very thin, and I could hear all phone conversations that my neighbors had across the wall.
The room itself was of a standard size. The facilities included a small kitchenette equipped by a small refrigerator, microwave, a kettle, and a kitchen cabinet with a set of 2 plates and cups, as well as a very old TV. The cleanliness of the room, carpet (that was completely worn, with multiple stains), and the bed sheets was very poor. The mattress was not quite comfortable.
Hotel offers parking on the site at a discounted price (20 NIS for 24 hrs).
Pros:
- Wifi available at the room, without any extra charge
- Nice breakfast (dairy). Variety of cheeses, breads, croissants, pancakes, blintzes, cereal, Israeli salad, omelette, milk, orange/lemon juices (from a concentrate), coffee, tea

In sum, I would not use this place in the future.
