Stayed here the first night of a tour and will not stay again. First, the positive: great views. All the rooms in the hotel overlook the Med Sea and it is one of the few hotels that is right on the beach.

However, the rooms are extremely dated both inside and out. Dingy is a good word. The bed spreads look like they're from the Crusader period and the air conditioning units, which did not work at all, looked like they were made in 1950. I'm used to European style rooms so my expectation weren't extremely high but even so, I was very disappointed. There was a mini bar which was empty; I know this because it had no door on it. The room did have a TV, but with a 17 in screen and no remote, it wasn't worth the effort. The glass door opening to the balcony would have been nice, but with the screen missing, the mosquitos would have carried me away.

The dinner they served was good food and tasted fine but all in all the Blue Weiss made me feeling blue. I'll try the King Solomon next time, but I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything nice in Netanya at all.

This hotel if in North America would be condemed!

The outside looks great, the Lobby to is pretty good. from there it ends. The rom halways and rooms were the worst I have seen.

The doors use keys, brass keys. which have to used to lock the door as well. I was initally in 309. Inside the room there is a connecting door with the next suite but there was no lock so each occupant could pass freely into the next room. Very bad smell of old tobacco so switched room. Next room 109 was worse. Have attached pictures.

Matress badly stained and very old, hole in the ceiling with water dripping through, a lump of old chewing gum on the bed headboard. Tiles missing, A/C did not work. Dust on ledge must have been years of accumulation, Urine stains around the toilet.

Linens and towels very old.

Viem off the balcony was to garbage and other waste.

Lino tile floor no carpets.

Furnishing all chipped and dirty.

Meal in the dining room was okay, soup excellent, numerous courses but mostly overcooked. Time to eat only was for one hour. No bar service, no newspapers or internet. Elevators in poor shape.

Staff while pleasant did not seem happy in their work, no uniforms worked in their personal clothes except for dinign room. Breakfast good.
