Had to travel through Artesia and stopped for a night. I travel quite a bit and was impressed with how friendly everyone was. They made my stay enjoyable. I've found the hotel I will be staying at everytime I travel through Artesia.

One of the best hotesl I've stayed in! The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the atmostphere was great. From the General Manager to the night staff, all that i came into contact proved to be the exception of most service nowadays. The staff went out of their way to make our stay nice and did an exceptional job. Great job to all those that make this hotel GREAT!

The check in process was quick and the girl behind the counter was VERY friendly. Our room was in perfect condition and smelled great too.

We travel often to Artesia and will def stay here again!

Breakfast was great

We were looking for a nice hotel for 4 adults and 2 small children. It didn't have to be real fancy, but friendly, clean and resasonable in cost. The Legacy Inn met those requirements. I was not familar with the name, but it had the best ratings of the area that I found on the web. It was a great location right across from the local K Mart. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. When we came in from Carlsbad Caverns they had a tray of chocolate chip cookies and cartons of milk for those returning from there sightseeing trips. All and all it was a nice stay, we felt safe and were very comfortable for our 2 day stay.
