This adobe bed and breakfast sits alone in the desert (though you never feel isolated.) Our room was very comfortable and quite large with a deck on the upper floor allowing us to see forever. The food was excellent but the service was quite slow. Don't expect TV but do expect to be very quite comfortable. There are lots of places to walk and sit outside.

Beautifully decorated adobe style B&B. Room was spacious and our bath included large jacuzzi. Breakfasts were excellent. Owner and staff were very accomodating. Nice sunsets and star gazing late. Great restaurants close by.

Over the years we have stayed at many B&B's and now we can say that Adobe and Stars Bed and Breakfast Inn of Taos is our favorite B&B.

When we called to make our reservation, Judy asked if we have any food sensitivities. My wife and I each have several. To our amazement, on each of the five mornings of our stay Judy cooked special gourmet breakfasts for us that accommodated to our food needs. Each breakfast was creative and delicious. We felt very special and taken care of.

The inn itself is wonderful, built in white adobe style and filled with southwestern artwork. We felt that we were experiencing a real southwestern vacation. Each evening we enjoyed having a fire in the kiva in our room while sipping wine.

Also, the location is prime. It's out in the country where it's quiet, about 10 minutes from downtown Taos. The view of majestic Taos Mountain is amazing and the inn sits only a stone's throw from the rim of scenic Verdes Valley. I'm a runner and I enjoyed running along the rim road, taking in the magnificent views of the valley below, with Taos Mountain rising above it all.

Judy's hospitality cannot be matched. She won our hearts as well as our business. We plan to return to Adobe and Stars many times.

When you visit Taos, plan to stay at Adobe and Stars B & B. What a beautiful, peaceful spot! There are only 8 rooms and my husband and I found it the perfect size for a restful getaway. It is a really super value for the price. The staff is delightful, accommodating and very pleasant. You will never, and I mean never, have a better breakfast. What a treat! We stayed in the upstairs Polaris room, and it is wonderfully comfortable - beautiful view, spacious, large bath, great bed, nice chair for reading, kiva fireplace. The hand hewn pine beams on the ceilings are truly amazing. The patio is lovely. The living room is sunny, open and most inviting. What a great collection of books, just in case you forgot to bring one. If we had more time we could easily just have spent an entire day lounging and watching birds and rabbits. I have stayed at a great many B & Bs in my years of travels, and this is one of the best. It is a great honeymoon spot, too. Run, don’t walk, to make a reservation here. You will be totally charmed. Allow yourself to be spoiled!
