Overall, a great place to stay in, situated in a desert oasis.
Plenty of attractions nearby.
If you want to escape the city and enjoy the nature wilderness that is the desert, Arad is the place to visit.
The hotel was very convenient. Available parking. Easy to find.
Great views of the desert.
The food was delicious.
The room was very nice, with air conditioning (a must in August) and a safe as standard.

Would highly recommend this place, our family of five had a wonderful time here.

The English Dictionary Defines the word Hotel as "a commercially run establishment providing lodging and usually meals for guests, and often containing a public bar ". I cannot that word next too or having anything to do with the words Margoa Arad. I came to this hotel with a group of American college kids visiting Israel and this was the only night we stayed here. The food we ate was good that I will say but From then on it went downhill. We were givin our room keys and I recieved room 120. We found this room at the end of a dark hallway and inside the horrors began. The Sheets and covers of my bed had clear signs of human bodily fluid stains. The floor was absolutey filthy and disgusting. I opened our closet door which looked like an 8 year old had been forced to live their for several months...maybe perhaps a chimpanzee... Our bathroom floors had pieces of rubble as well as a long thin yellow stain in the shower/tub... yuck.....The television is more than fifty years old, we didnt bother to see if it worked. My friends and I determined our room was un-inhabitable and proceeded to the lobby where we slept for a couple hours on the couches their...But before this happend we wanted some fresh water...We asked the Russian/Israeli security guard and he gave us attitude and at first refused to give us water. He finally gave in when my friend who spoke hebrew asked "is it so much to ask for water, the most basic of neccesities...." All in all this place is Filthy and I would never recommend anyone stay here unless you have a hooker....

This hotel seems to have stopped any improvements in the 1950's. Carpets are coming up at the seams, beds are pretty bad, and rooms have furniture that an antique store must have rejected. The breakfast is minimal. There is not even an electric kettle in the room.

Great Hotel.
We stayed for three nights in the area. We love the desert and this hotel offers
a lot of trekking possibilities in the area. The service was friendly, the rooms
and dining room area were clean. The view was awesome. There was a beautiful
pool. If I go back I would like to stay there a bit longer.
