Hotel was great, beautiful room and especially bathroom, staff were absolutely perfect, the food presentation was excellent, but the taste was average.
It is far from the airport - 2 hours driving.
Diving was really great. For diving, I would recommend to go out of season - not a lot of tourists.

First off, let me state that we did not stay at the hotel. We were staying next door at The Lombok Lodge (see that review). We went over to the Oberoi to have drinks at sunset at their bar. 4 adults and one older child. There was croquet all set up and we thought what fun, have some drinks, watch the sunset and play croquet. NO other guests were at the bar. The staff came out and informed us very rudely that we could not play as it was for the guests of the hotel. Mind you there was no one else around--literally. (there was only one couple at the pool) Not even a polite, "you can play but if a guest comes and wants to play- they get priority" Fortunately they were so rude and we were so unimpressed -(and the drinks were less expensive at our hotel) that we left before we spent any money there.

Absolutely gorgeous. I reserved an ocean view Villa to surprise my wife, and the experience was unforgettable. We do not usually go to such spectacular hotels, but the place was just amazing. They picked us up from the Gili islands and totally helped me to surprise my wife. The Villa was amazing and full of personalized details. We spent the afternoon in the Spa, which was exclusively reserved for us and we had a great romantic dinner to round up the day. If we feel like enjoying some luxury in the future, we surely will look for an Oberoi.

Top hotel very luxury.pavilion rooms big and luxury loved the bathroom and my private veranda. Staff is discrete and o so professional, complimentary big american breakfast and return airport transfers and rep at airport to check you in. Top service in hotel and restaurant .hotel is remote but only 45 minutes by taxi to Senggigi. If you are well travelled pick this hotel, until now we never experienced a better service before.we will return to oberoi next visit to Lombok,well done oberoi!
