We stayed here in July 2010 and to say we enjoyed it would be a understatement. The hotel is in two parts, across the road from one another. The beach side section has a pool with double story, Bali style accommodation grouped around it.
We had a pool side, ground floor room that was spacious and clean with hot water (that always worked!) and a double bed with mozzie net. The sheets were changed every day and cleanliness seems to be a priority here.
If you are going here in the peak season (June, July) make sure that you book. We didn't but were really lucky to get a room at all, let alone on the beach side. Note: the prices change daily and they have a scale depending on how busy they are. We paid 450 000rp ($50) per night but the same room three days later was ten dollars more. Once you are in the room you pay whatever price was agreed on. Don't even try to bargain, they won't, outside school holidays and peak times, you MIGHT be in with a chance.
It's a very European place, in that there are not many Australians there.
The beach was spitting distance from our room and is VERY quiet. There are a few beach boys selling this and that but there is no "Hard sell" like in other parts of Indonesia.
breakfast was included, and was pretty good. We didn't eat at any other time as it was a bit expensive. Lots of others were eating there though.
It's a little way out of the main central part of sengiggi, but we had a car so public transport wasn't an issue. You can hire a decent care in Sengiggi for about twenty bucks per day.
I've stayed in a lot of places in Lombok, but this one was something special.
