Good hotel, but minimized services since its not Hyatt anymore. You notice this. Wifi on room not available. Staff for breakfast delivers poor service.

Formerly Grand Hyatt Hotel. First and foremost, I would like to stress that Grand Hyatt started this hotel about 17 or 18 years ago. That is a very long time, and the room has definitely aged. Very badly lit room with weird Balinese statues in the room (?????) -_-" Even the walkway is dark and spooky. Breakfast is ok though, and the lobby surely do have the Grand Hyatt luxury, but not the rooms. (Why the hell do they want to put weird Balinese statues in the room???)

I would like to make a hard complaint letter to Hotel Bumi Surabaya Management.
At September 3rd, 2011, my spouse and me, was check in at Hotel Bumi Surabaya via Travel Agent, and at the day after ( September 4th, 2011) when i went to car park, I was shocked by so many scratches at my car ( around the body). And when i complained to the Bumi Hotel, they said that they didnt have any responsibilities in any car accidents in their cark park due to handled by vendor ( Secure Parking ). When i've confirmed to Manager on Duty, he said that the hotel didnt need to have any responsibilities in their customer cars. When im looking for the GM, they said that the GM still on leave and cannot be contacted, when i've got his number ( I found by my self ) he was not act like other Hotel GMs, but he just angry with a high voice and said something about racism. i've got no apologize from the hotel.I've asked them to call the police, to make sure that my car was scratched at their carpark, because the hotel management said that they didnt sure if my car was scratched at their hotel..When i made a hard complaint, they just keep silent. Thanks to the Police department ( POLSEK Genteng, Indentification Team, POLDA JATIM and SPKT POLDA JATIM ).

Its been spectacullar if stay in bumi surabaya. While its not in hyatt management, but the hotel still giving the touch of luxury to their guest. While im stay in bumi theres pasar malam in majapahit garden. The food taste is like home, with great value of money.
