This hotel is perfect for a stop whilst in transit. Quite grand when you walk in and obviously a business hotel rather than tourist. Our room was very pleasant and we were taken to it quickly upon arrival. We were, however, unable to use the restaurant as there was a huge conference on and instead were told to use the reataurant at the top of the hotel.
On their website they advertise this glass restaurant with views over Candi, but it appears to only be for those who have booked in in the very expensive suites at the top of the hotel. We had to be escorted up and there was only one girl to serve us. The place was empty. The food took ages to come from the kitchens at the botom which were struggling with the conference. It was quiet with no atmosphere. The views would have been good were it not for the rainfall and low cloud. The food was excellent.
We then bought wonderful cakes from the lobby and took them to our room for cakes and coffee after we had freshened up from our flight from Borneo.
Evening entertainment in the bar was not good, but the coffee was.

The rooms have been renovated, and now they have a modern style. The breakfast was delicious, with pretty ok range of selection. The location is far away from the crowd. Good for people who want and need quietness. But might be too far if you want to see around.
