I have stayed at the Grand Candi many times over the last 8 years. It's always comfortable in the lobby, rooms and dining. Give it a try. It's a solid value in a nice neighborhood.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Rooms were a good size and very clean with hard-wood floors and fresh sheets.

Internet service is great and the bathrooms are clean and modern. Nothing luxurious, but very functional.

Breakfast isn't fantastic, but there was a good selection and the food was pretty good.

The gym was clean and large with lots of machines and the massage downstairs is definitely worth a try.

Grand Candi gives a spacious, clean, and nice room. The internet is good. At the lobby you will find the best bakery shop. When you are in Semarang, please try the oldest Lumpia at jalan Lombok. Walk across the street, you find 3-4 resto in same building. There are chinese, japanese, and indonesian resto. In semarang, going to any where within the city only 15-20 minutes by taxi including to airport.

Generally good. The room and customer service. But the car arrangement guy is not so friendly. The attitude is not acceptable. The guy should be complained. His attitude will make loss to the Hotel.
