Last Feb '12 was my second stay at Padma and will still be my favorite destination for the next visits. But the food in resto need to have more varieties.

my second time relaxing at padma hotel bandung....... still great hotel....but in our second time stay at padma we have great memorable stay....my butler ludy make surprise for me and my wife.....i only meet him at evening only 15 minute but everything we need and everything what we want available at room plus he decorate table for me and my wife dinner in our room.....good job for padma provide butler service for free so every people can used his service but amazing for me free butler service but best and outstanding butler service....thanx for ludy and team for make my wife always smile.....

We went to Padma for our 8th wedding anniversary. My husband noted the purpose of our trip when he booked via Agoda. When we arrived at the hotel, we were not impressed by the outer look, but when we got inside, we totally changed our mind.

We booked a Deluxe Terrace and we were upgraded to the Premier Room. This room type is really gorgeous. With a wall-to-wall glass window you get a breathtaking view to the valley just across from the hotel. The room plus the bathroom are also very spacious, you get a bedroom together with sitting room and a swiveling TV in the middle which can face either way. They were really serious about the quality of their furniture, bathroom equipment and amenities. You also get a great view from the bathroom.

In the evening, coming back from our dinner, we got a surprise from the hotel. They sent us a complimentary cheesecake with a Happy Anniversary note on the plate and a card signed by some of the hotel staff. We were really touched by this gesture. They also put some rose petals on the floor and on the bed, which we didn't even have on our honeymoon. :-))

After waking up in bliss to the beautiful trees and butterflies, we headed for breakfast. The venue was again overlooking the valley and you get to enjoy the sun on the terrace. The food was great, with a wide selection of international and local menu. The fruit was fresh and again, the quality of the cutleries is really high standard.

I have to note the friendliness of the staff. I think their management has done a great job with the training. Everyone we met, starting from security guy, parking attendance, cleaning ladies, maintenance staff, restaurant staff and of course the front office, seem so eager to help. With their ready smiles, they have always proactively asked if we needed help. I loved it when a staff at the buffet table just came out and told me which fruit I should try. Maybe she saw my blank face at their variety. *LOL*

I recommend that you take a walk around the hotel. Not only do they have nice swimming pools and a jacuzzi, they also have a lovely open space with tropical flowers.

In summary, Padma has surpassed our expectation. I'm recommending the hotel to everyone I know. I would like to thank the staff for making our stay a memorable experience.

The hotel location and design is very good. Its not far from shopping area and good food locations. The design of the hotel has the simple and luxury taste as well. We enjoy swimming at the 3 pools available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We love the breakfast and the buffet lunch (a bit too pricey). The selection of food was great, since we miss Indonesian food so it's perfectly suit our taste. However some notes. Lots of improvement need to be done on the dining area, eg: slow response of staff, missing cutleries on new table, the service staff has the tendency to clear the plates including the cutleries without replacing it and lastly please have a proper baby chair that secure the baby to the chair.

It could be better if the hotel has a spa treatment. The current tiny reflexology place maybe adequate to some, but not for us. We were quite were disappointed when we realize there isn't any spa or massage in the hotel.
