We came to this hotel after booking a suite room for a vacation.
Its location is strategic, uphill in Bandung with nice weather.
Frontliners were very welcome although it was a very busy traffic of visitors coming in and out. We did not wait too long to get into our room. The room is spacious and very comfortable.
My sons directly asked me to go swimming. We enjoyed the pool very much, also the playground. My kids were very happy and of course tired of playing.
The food was very delicious and the resto's location was near the pool, so I could monitor my kids playing.

Ive been going to jayakarta hotel bandung since 1995. During that time, this hotel was relatively one of the best hotel you can find in bandung. Since the new freeway between jakarta-bandung was made, many local tourists comes to bandung for holidays even just for the weekends as the travel time only takes 2 hours one way.

After the new freeway was opened , Bandung has grown rapidly! Many new hotels were built as there were shortage for hotel rooms.
But Since ive been coming to this hotel it has always been the best. Room is always been kept clean, it has an individually controlled wall split air conditioner system, TV, kettle jugs etc.The room is well lit.

Breakfast is awesome as normal. Many choices of fresh fruits, porridge, soups, juices, milk, breads, they even have many choices of desert. Its a complete choice from appetizer to desert!!

Staff is always awesome, always friendly and loves to help. They also give you a complimentary car wash every morning.

My last visit of the hotel was in july 2010. One of our room's A/C was leaking. This happens when it was 11pm at night. Called up house keeping and was attended within 5 minutes and fixed within 10 minutes.

Last of all, this hotels management have alot of experience on managing a good hotel. There could be many newer and cheaper hotels out there, but ive heard too many stories about bad managements. Over all im happy with this hotel , will always go back and reccomend to others.

Jayakarta Hotel ,it is a place we called our second home, because every year for the last 6 years we have our annual holiday in Indonesia, we always come back to stay at Jayakarta Hotel all the staff are courtious and friendly, the room is spaceious and clean, has a good restaurant and bar, breakfast is always a treat with lots of different variety of food we can have different breakfast every single morning ( mind u we have stayed there for nearly 2 months thank to volcano erruption we have to extended our stay), back to the hotel it has a big swimming pool with a decent size hot tub, fitness centre and spa anyway we can get anything we need in this superb hotel, and we are very happy with our stay and defenately will stay there again and would highly recommend jayakarta hotel to a friend.

Jayakarta is our favorite place to stay whenever we go to Bandung. One thing that we really like about this hotel is the location. It's somewhere on the outskirt of the city nestling beautifully on the hill side. At night we can get a clear view of the city and it's worth the experience.
Some of the rooms were a bit tired. We can clearly see wear and tear in some places, however, the staff managed to keep them clean. The bathroom were quite spacious and also clean. They have a newly added wing so we can choose to stay in newer rooms which are a bit more expensive. Nevertheless, it's not so pricey as other hotels in Bandung.
Breakfast offered a nice variety and the staff were very helpful. The pool is quite large and adequately landscaped. It can get a bit crowded though as it is open for public. So you might like to swim a little bit earlier or later.
If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the city and would like to stay at a good and affordable place, Jayakarta is definitely a good choice for you.
