This was by far the most "rustic" of the hotels we stayed at on our two-week tour of Thailand and Bali and it was fun to have a little different experience. With the beautiful pool and rooms looking directly onto the rice paddies, it really felt like we were part of nature (of course, with all the lizards, bugs and other crawlies that entailed - we didn't mind but there's no escaping them!) Rooms are large and not overly furnished - as I said, the view is really the important part of the decor and the rest of the room is beside the point (bit of a severe mattress, handheld shower, etc.)
Didn't have as great of an experience with the restaurant/staff as the other reviewers. Generally I found the staff polite but indifferent and the food expensive and average. The major exceptions were the shuttle drivers, who were prompt, gave great advice and were really fun to talk to.
I'd absolutely stay at Green Field again but only for a few days. Worth a trip, though!
