We stayed there Jan 2012 for 2 nights in a deluxe room. Nice doors but is just locked with a padlock, so not really safe! Our room was big and nice, the only thing that should be done is an upgrade of the bathrooms as they are old and dirty compared to the rooms and a safebox would be good to have! Beautiful garden, with two separate infinte swimming pools.

Very central location in Ubud, 5 min walk from the monkey park, lots of shops, restaurants, bars around.

Tip: check your bill in any restaurant around as we had the case they tried to surcharge us twice!
and negociate all prices of souvenirs!

Stayed here twice. 2010, 2011. Good locatoin, hand y to everything. Like the deck however, the changes have not nimproved the resort. Now overlooked by huge new buildong next door. Breakfasts not upto previous standard.
Rooms spacious, bathrooms large. Staff excellent. I just think it could improve its standard of facilities.

We just spent a week staying at Pertiwi and found it to be very average and we all felt that there are better options nearby. The grounds are very beautiful and the location can't be beat, but beyond that it's all a bit tired and worn out. There are tiles missing from the pool, the bathroom is quite mouldy but the balcony is lovely and the staff were very friendly. The overall vibe was that it was a place that was once quite grand but no longer. overall I kind of liked it but wouldn't stay there again because there's just too much else that's better, and better value too.
