We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and it was good value for money. We paid extra for a garden view room and it is worth the extra 3 pounds. The rooms at the front as very near to the busy road with many cars and motorbikes all night long. Plenty of hot water and the BEST airconditioning I have experienced on my travels, so a good nights sleep. Breakfast, choice of fresh fruit or juice the cooked eggs e.g. scrambled, fried etc toast jam and fresh tea or coffee plenty to set you up for the day. Swimming pool nice and refreshing, gardens well maintained ,sun loungers with cushions just ask and towels included by the pool. Lots of restaurants to choose from and the Hardy store is a short walk from the hotel turn right and follow the road BUT no airconditioning in it so be prepared for a hot sweaty shop. stamps can be bought from the little supermarket next to hotel on left approx 60p per stamp much cheaper than Australia. We had a driver meet us at the airport arranged by hotel 135000 he was so good we used him over our holiday, a nice aircondioned 7 seater Susuki. Gada is his name and we can give you his mobile number, we went for a days trip and we chose what we wanted to see 9-6pm cost £35 !!!! very good value and felt very safe with him. He took us off the main roads to see real Bali. Sanur has a good calm sandy beach for children with small shops along the edge, a small street market but the people were very nice and not to pushy. As other reviewers have said come out of hotel turn right cross the road and go through hotel to beach, no problem. There is a nice walk way along the edge to cycle or walk. Worth a visit the Hyatt hotel with its fantastic gardens just walk in and look around maybe take a coffee. Enjoyed our time there the staff were very friendly and helpful, books to borrow if you run out of reading.
