Hidden in the back streets of Sanur is the beautiful Gangsa. There are 11 villas in total (im pretty sure) and they are huge. We had a villa with a private pool, outdoor/indoor bathroom, outdoor entertaining area (under cover), outdoor dining, outdoor kitchen, another bedroom upstairs with bathroom and toilet and another outdoor toilet down stairs. The space was wonderful, we didn't use the upstairs as there was only the two of us. The pool was pretty big and we used the outdoor area all the time. The staff were fantastic and happy to please you. We had our own personal butler at call. We paid for breakfast included everday and you can either eat at the restaurant or they deliver it to your room daily. The breakfast is as big as you want it, your choice. I had my birthday while I was there and my partner organised a special private dinner at the villa and when we got home from our day out the whole pool hald been completely covered with petals and arrangements... BEAUTIFUL. All the staff turned up after the meal with a traditional Indonesian birthday cake for me and the all sang to me. That was the highlight of my holiday. You also have a personal driver to take you to and from the beach, shops, etc. We walked it a bit also and realised once you cross the main road its not far through the back street to the beach walking. When you get to the beach there is a personal butler (Yoeman) there just for Gangsa that will look after you all day in a perfect spot on the beach just for you. He was very friendly and we ended up going out with him on his friends personal traditional fishing boat snorkling and the intention of fishing over the reef. We took the esky with some beer and it was the perfect day out, nice and relaxed with a couple of locals. We also did a day tour to Ubud through the Gangsa with a butler. We had a private picnic up in the hills overlooking the view, very nice. Also we did the touristy thing which was included in the tour. The Gangsa was a wonderful experience and we would definately recommend everyone to go there!
