We ended up in Bali on a New years Eve whim - once we realised all of our friends had gone away! Just as well I'm not paranoid. So booked flights and accomm the day before we left. We had been told Ubud was the place for tranquility coupled with restaurants, markets etc and away from the craziness of Kuta but of course on 24 hours notice there was little accomm left - it was by chance that I found Emerald Villas in Sanur. I'm a tripadvisor devotee so immediately checked before booking and Voila all good reviews. So what's left to add?

Nothing really ... just to reinforce how wonderful the villa was, how beautiful the staff were and how quiet it was but still only a short walk to the main strip on Tamblingan. We had a pool villa so could swim when ever we chose, hired a car and driver for the day and just went looking.

The Emerald villas are perfect if you want a quiet, chilled out, luxurious and staffed place to rest , relax and recuperate. Perfect for couples, families with independant teenagers and anyone seeking tranqillity with busy stuff nearby.

From the moment you step inside the luxury starts! Can not recommend it highly enough!!!! From the restaurant , security guards to your own maid nothing is a problem! Komma our housekeeper made sure our stay was perfect! A peaceful tranquil stay was enjoyed by us all(5 in total ages range from 14 to 70) most definately return again.

The emerald villas is clean and good service, there is a maid serve us but unfortunately she leave abit early, around 4pm..that is not really satisfy for me.other than that are very satisfy. 10 of us really enjoy the villas, drinking at our private poolside. the staffs and security are friendly

We have just returned from 2 weeks staying at Emerald Villas (# A10). We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the delightful Villa with private pool and garden. Komang, the maid, is a delight and keeps the Villa spotless and helps with anything as required. The beach and restaurants are a five minute walk away from the main gates which have 24 hour security. Highly recommended for long or short term stays.
