Stayed here 4 nights with my 3 daughters. Friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food. Rooms very clean and spacious surrounded by tropical gardens, fishponds and inviting plunge pools. The property is 'in the suburbs' but shuttle service is more than adequate. For an excellent tour guide and driver, ask for 'Mully' who will enhance your visit with his wealth of knowledge of the area, history and customs. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel gave us really a pleasant stay. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, too. We arrived very late in the evening and the room service was closed. But they intentionally prepared for us 3 portions of sandwich and fries, just in case we needed some food. And it was good, too. We were not hungry but we finished that all happyly because it was so good. The atmosphere of the resort is very relaxing. The breakfast served was also good.

This is a gem of a place. Lovely staff giving superb service, always trying to make you feel very comfortable. We stayed there on three different nights in three different rooms, all beautifully luxurious. The food was of a very high quality and delicious. We loved being there and would always choose to stay here when visiting Bali in the future.

After spending two nights at Waka Gangga (which we loved), we decided to end our holiday at Waka Maya, in Sanur. We were mainly disappointed by the bad location. It's not on the beach, and the shuttle service (which takes you to the "beach club") drops you off at a third-rate cafe in the less than salubrious end of the beach, which has four lounge chairs offering a poor view at a minimally swimmable beach. The other downside is the lack of free transfers - to the airport, to the other hotels, even if they're very close or affiliated. Not a great situation given where the hotel isn't.

On the plus side, the hotel is very quiet and offers great privacy and great service. But for this price, and given our experience in Yea Gangga, we expected much more.
