“OMG!!! We've found our oasis in Sanur!”

This was our first stay at the Zen and it won't be our last! We stayed at the Zen in a Tranquility 2bdrm villa for 3 nights after 16 days travelling around Bali celebrating my husband's 50th. The Villa was amazing and surpassed our expectations!! It was like our home away from home and was extremely comfortable with all the modern conveniences as well as two stunning outdoor bathrooms (and two indoor bathrooms), an amazing private pool, spa and a wonderful bale perfect for reading and snoozing!

I also arranged through the Zen for an special in-villa surprise birthday dinner celebration. The meal was prepared and cooked by a well known chef who came with his team to our villa to do the final preparations, set the table, serve the meal and then wash up! It was amazing and by far the most delicious selection of Indonesian dishes we had during our Balinese holiday. He even made a delicious chocolate mud cake that my husband is still talking about! Many thanks to Mertana and his team! His service is highly recommended.

The Zen was the perfect place for us to end our Bali holiday and we did nothing but swim, snooze, relax and unwind (and eat)!

Many thanks to Trish, Fiona, Adi, Sri and the Zen staff for their great service and for helping to make our stay at the Zen relaxing and memorable.

If you are after little indulgence and somewhere to unwind and kick back then look no further! The Zen is amazing and highly recommended!

Room Tip: Tranquility 2bdrm Villas are stunning

“Another fantastic stay”

Our 4th stay was in October 2011 - We stayed in the Harmony Villa (Lovina) with our daughter & her husband. What a fantastic time we had. Our wonderful stay started with Trish greeting us & also the rest of the wonderful staff Adi & Siri. The villa is fantastic 2 seperate bedrooms so you can go to bed without hearing any noise from the living/dining kitchen which is fully enclosed & airconditioned (Doors can be opened to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area). The kitchen is modern with a large fridge, great for ice & Beer & a wonderful area to sit & look out over the pool & garden. The Bedrooms have wonderful bedding & pillows, good airconditioning plus one bedroom has an outdoor bathroom whilst the other has a big bath. Linen, Bathroom & Pool Towels provided are of top quality. Breakfast was cooked in the Villa always on time by friendly staff, nothing was ever any trouble for any of the staff employed at the villa. Security staff are fantastic & taxi's ordered come very quickly, or one can take a sort walk (approx 10 minutes) to the main shopping area. Trish & Fiona were fantastic as always helping with Shopping locations, Dental appointments & of course the heads up on all the latest eating places. They even made bookings for us which is what Zen is all about - the little extra touches that go a long way when you are on holidays. Do not hesitate to book at these Villa's as you will have a fantastic time.

“Perfect Family Break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We stayed here for 6 nights after travelling around Bali with some friends. It was an absolute oasis of tranquility and class (yes we stayed in the Tranquility Villa). The pool and spa were a hit with the kids as was the day bed to lounge around in. The villas were huge and beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the outdoor bathroon was a real treat. It is a bit of a walk through the back streets, but they are so interesting and what Bali is all about. The old man at the corner shop with his chickens would wave frantically to the kids every day! Hope to get back here sometime in the future.

“Total Relaxation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

I stayed at the Zen Villas in Sanur for 7 nights in October 2011. Right from making my booking the staff were helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra distance to make sure all needs were met. I stayed in a one bedroom villa which was exceptionally clean and well maintained (Beauifull big pillows) and the pool was a welcome retreat after a day out. The only drawback was the very hard mattress, however on pointing this out to staff I was assured that this would be addressed for the next guest.
A short walk down a lovely lane brought you out in the main area where there was a great variety of restaurants and shopping available.
Breakfasts were great, the airport transfer driver was helpful and able to provide great tips for excursions, shopping etc and a big thankyou to the receptionist who made the trip to the post office after packing all of my excess shopping and then posting it back to home for me
To Fiona and her staff, thankyou for a wonderfully relaxing stay at the villas.
I would recommend the villas to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a private villa but that also has great access to all that Bali has to offer.

“Fantastic villa with great staff”

Wonderful villa, wonderful staff.............so helpful and attentive.
They seemed to be constantly cleaning and tidying around the complex.

Breakfast prepared in the villa every morning. Could do with more coffee and 'unsweetened' juice though!

Only a short walk into Sanur.

The only issue was that it rained quite a lot and the grass pathways became flooded.

I would fully recommend this place to all!

Room Tip: I think that all villas were lovely!
