I've stayed here many times - with partners, and with friends. Love it. Great service, lovely staff, central location but quiet, great breakfasts, huge villas with gorgeous pool & gardens with plenty of living space. I'll be back...

We have just returned from a great 13 night stay at Alu Bali, Seminyak.
The reason for the trip was to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with 23 of our closest friends. We decided to have the event catered for by the Food and Beverage staff. Kris was magnificent in anticipating all our needs. The function went off without a hitch, food was magnificent and they managed to transform the villa into a palace of candles and flowers.
The villas are looking a little dated however the staff make up for what the villas lack. Mena was very helpful while I was making the booking and Putra and Eddi transported us where ever we needed. Great spot to relax!!

Have to say we were excited when we booked. The Villa we stayed in was good. The pool very clean and the over all + was it was wonderful. We didn't notice the dogs barking as we were inside and music was playing so you didn't really hear them. It wasn't till we went to bed we realised the dogs were all taking turns trying to out do each other. This went on for 10 days.. The only time they stopped was when it rained.. Needless to say we generally woke at 3 in the morning with them barking ............. Sadly the Hotel stated they had made regular requests of the people behind them who had the dogs to do something about it... But they couldn't give a toss... So If you do happen to come here don't be surprised if your going to have the same thing.. Unless the dogs are removed...... Other than that I was really impressed. The chief we had cook a great breakfast.. We really think we got our $$$ worth other than the annoying dogs

Seven wonderful nights spent in this little piece of paradise. The staff were more than friendly, they were prompt, polite and always helpful. The villa we had was the smallest but it was more than big enough for two people. OK, the paint was peeling in places and it sometimes looked a little shabby but that only added to the charm.

The food was great. The breakfasts were cooked in the villa by a chef at the time of our choosing and were plentiful and delicious. The room service meals and snacks were also very good and reasonably priced.

All this and within easy walking distance to some great bars and restaurants and a cheap taxi (taksi) fare to the main attractions of Kuta, etc. And I should mention that the trip to Ubud with the Alu Bali driver Putra was fun, interesting and very good value for money.
