Stay for 2 weeks end of December/early Jan
This was our 4th visit and 1st at this place and the worst we have stayed so far...
Our room was very noisy near the pool bar till all hours so we had shifted after the first night.
The smell from the basement as you go through up to the room was unbearable. The air con was not working to adjust and so was too cold and gave one of us a terrible sinus cold. The toilet got blocked a few times. The pool was very uninviting compared to other places and a bit all over the place... The lift was very instable and quite often we were stuck between the floors and the doors constantly shut on you!
The only positive was the convenient location to the beach, market & kuta square ... Would not like to stay again

We 're not happy having family room in this hotels...the situation and the atmosphere not represent the 5 stars hotel ...the unkind F.O. staff...old hotel with minimum maintenance...the front door 's very dirty...the floor 's very dusty and the cheap and dirty carpet ...the lobby face the wall and swimming pool restaurant kitchen...we re not recommended this family room ...

This is my second stay at Kuta Paradiso, and won't be my last. I have written a not so lovely review about this place in the past, but I am happy to say that they have improved since. The location is always a plus. You can walk to the beach, markets and main streets of Kuta. Yes it may be noisy at night, but it will normally become quieter by 11pm. I am in my late 20's and went with my parents and neither of them complained about the noise or ambience. The hotel is not on a large block and has lifts so it makes it easy for everyone to get around. The pool is still the best pool layout I have seen. It is still relatively quiet or seems to be as its occupants are mainly Asians and middle easterners who keep quiet and do not use the pool much, Suits me, as I like to have the pool and spa to myself. The spa is not the cheapest in town, but it is clean and they do a professional job so I would rather use them than go looking on the street. We also used the gym everyday and it was very well equipt and welcoming. If you get there at 7 you will most likely have it to yourself. The service at reception was what let it down last time, this has definately been rectified and check in and out is very fast and friendly. The food at the pool and front restaurant is authentic and some of the best hotel food I have experienced in Bali. Go for Chinese food at the front, yum! Pizza by the pool is a must. The only complaint is that service of food and cocktails is a bit slow. Hopefully this changes by the time I come back.

Stay from 9 to 13 Dec. Waited in the aircon lounge with very comfortable sofa and nice welcome drink for almost an hour before rooms are ready. Location is convenient with shops and restaurants all around. Discovery Shopping Mall and Waterbom is within walking distance. Then again, almost the whole stretch of Kuta is convenient with shops and restaurants all surrounding you. Hotel staff are friendly and rooms are clean. Swimming pool was nice and service was good. Breakfast spread was good and ambience was serene. Overall stay was good and nothing to complain unless you must have white fluffy new towels as the towels seem rather 'used'.
