We had been recommended this hotel by many friends who travel to Bali.On reflection I think it was because of the kids club etc. It had lots of things going on for children and adults alike, and for me, had the feel of a "Butlins Holiday camp" . It was a shame that our stay was whilst the kids pool was being renovated, as my 3 year old was really looking forward to the slides etc. There was one pool we could use, this was otfen full with kids/teenagers thrashing about which was too much for both myself and 3 yr old learning to swim as it was 1.90cm deep, and ended up not being a pleasurable swim/experience. The overall feel of the Dynasty had a more traditional feel, the hotel its self was aged in appearance compared with the hotel we had stayed at previously. The gardens were beautiful and inviting, clean and had some lovely white ducks in residence which were lovely to see around the place. The porters were polite and the room attendant made towel animals for our bubs every day that pleased her no end! Overall the breakfast was limited, (older female) catering staff, somewhat dispondent and gave the feeling everything was too much effort which let the service down. I had been expecting great things from the Dynasty but was left feeling a little deflated. I would recommend the Dynasty for those liking a teenage family package holiday, that like organisation and their days planned.
