We recently stayed at Bali Dynasty and couldnt have asked for a better hotel. The only downside was that it was very busy when we went and being a family hotel the pool was so crowded that we avoided it.

The service from the staff was amazing. They were always so polite but a little slow at check in.

The buffet breakfast was really good and they had quite a large range. There was one morning where I did find ants had made it onto one of the spoons but that was quickly cleaned up.

My partner vomitted in the room and they cleaned it up for us the next day and didn't even mention it.

It isn't right in the heart of Kuta but that is what we were looking for. It is about a 5 minute walk to Waterbom park and Discover shopping centre and about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the heart of Kuta where all the clubs and pubs are.

I recommend this hotel and will stay here next time we are in Bali.

I had booked months in advance thru the web after having read good reviews from trip advisor. I had booked for approx. 10 days. When we arrived we got an excellent room in the new section on the quite side. Unfortunately the pool was under construction and there was a lot of noise and the sight looked a little ugly. One could not relax on the pool with the noise from the machines. I complained and said that it was not fair that they had not warned me when I booked for such a long stay ahead of time, so we only stayed here from 8 to 12th feb. 2011 and moved next door to RAMADA RESORT BINTANG BALI where we stayed 11 days

We have been to Bali quite a few times and always try out different hotels. I found Bali Dynasty to be the best so far. One of the main reasons we enjoyed it so much was that we had a pool view room which opened out directly onto the pool area which was just fantastic for our 10 and 13 year olds. The room was very comfortable with lots of storage for a longer stay and the kids had bunks with a trundle. The little things like the clothes line over the bath tub were appreciated. The room was cleaned very well and didn't have that "musty" smell you can sometimes get in Bali. There appeared to be a lot of Aussie families staying there and it was quite busy at times around the pool. There were a lot of organised activities you could take part in like water bombing competitions and bingo around the pool. Kids loved the water slide. I thought the hotel was in a great location to just be able to walk out into restaurants and shops and Centro (department store) and Water Bomb Park are really close. The beach is located right at the back of the hotel so you can just walk out onto it. The only negative I could say were that I was disappointed breakfast was not included as it is in most other hotels in Bali. The food we had at the hotel was quite good and they had lots of theme nights with different things like roast night, satay night etc. but there are also so many restaurants in close walking distance as well. Staff were very friendly and efficient. All in all, a very happy stay at Dynasty. We would definately return.

Generally the hotel was good but after specifying we selected the hotel due to the kids facilities, disappointingly the kids pool and water slide was shut down for maintenance during our visit. Rooms are OK (but for some reason, even with the air conditioner running, everything is incredibly damp) and the restaurants we tried were not bad.
