This boutique hotel has no doubt seen better days as far as building maintence goes in some areas but the rooms are lovely, spotless and romantic touches like draped four poster beds and flowers are everywhere. The aircon works well. Hairdryers and lovely toiletries provided.

The restaurant is good value and the food very fresh and tasty, and breakfast is included. It appears to be popular and with Japanese food preferences, but you can order bacon and eggs as well.
About half an hour drive from the airport. We stayed here on the last night and we were a few souveniers short. We were surprised to cross the road to look at some stone carvings and find a huge souvenier shop, with cheap prices, directly opposite!! I think they must have at least a million T shirts!
We hired a driver from the hotel, Kadek, who was a safe and careful driver, for $50 for an 8 hour day. Tip if you can as drivers earn very little.

This "ethnic hotel" is located a 10 min. drive north of Sanur (a taxi to Sanur beach or centre will cost you 2 Euro) on one of the main roads of Bali, but you will not be disturbed by the traffic noise, as the hotel accommodation is deep down inside the beautifully arranged and well-maintained compound.
The restaurant (like the entire hotel and the accommodation) is very tastefully furnished and serves delicious food for a very reasonable price (cheaper than the beach-joints).
Staff is great and really gives you a homy-feeling.
Free wireless internet available all-night long in the restaurant.
The pool is indeed more than 100 metres long, but the nicest part is close to the restaurant (but needs maintainance as the tiles are broken and/or have very sharp edges; be careful !).
Beautiful and very big garden with sundecks at many places make it impossible not to enjoy a very relaxing stay for only 40 Euro per night per room incl. tax and a very nice (continental or Indonesian) breakfast set.

2 stays during December 2010. Excellent 3 star quality hotel.
Excellent price/value offer, mainly catering local Indonesian tourists (thats why just few English TV channels). 2 swimming pools, one even having 4m depth for scuba diving training at one end. Magnificent gardens, not too many rooms occupied: what else can you wish for relaxing time?
The hotel is located outside Sanur, so you will need to either hire taxi (app 3 USD one way and 15 minutes drive) or use free transfer provided by hotel.
Nice and well trained staff, excellent restaurant and overall pleasant environment. An excellent option as to explore the island for the daytrips and return back in the evening for quite meal in the restaurant.

We reserved the room directly with the hotel via email and got a reasonable price. Excellent customer service, very responsive. The hotel also provided inexpensive airport pickup. Room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good with selection of Indonesian food which I like. The hotel ground is clean and lovely. We tried to walk around the hotel, but there is nothing touristy. This will be a good base if your intention is to do sightseeing by car to other locations in Bali since it is situated in the central area. Overall, it is a good value and we enjoyed our stay.
