We selected this placed based on tripadvisor reviews and actual experience was fantastic. Great location away from madness. Heritage property - very charming, good food and excellent staff led by very eager GM Harjit Singh Chugh who is omnipresent and always there to help.

i stayed at this place in july 2010.. the property is great and amazing.. my husband got fever over ther but then the staff was extremely helpful right from calling the doctor till getting the medicines.. its quiet relaxing and peaceful place..

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the quiet season. Although the hotel is away from the main part of the town (and not that easy to find initially) they do run a complimentary cab service to the town centre during the day, which is a great help. The room was really comfortable, and the heater they gave us kept it warm although it was quite cold outside. Staff were excellent, and breakfast out on the lawn overlooking the beautiful views was an unexpected bonus. The food was the only slightly disappointing aspect, as the fruit they served didn't seem fresh (and upset my stomach on the second morning) but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was very relaxing and peaceful.

Positives:
-Location: Just a 10 minute cab ride away from the main mall road
-Free pick & drop from the mall road throughout the day
-I stayed at the basic room. Very clean, spacious & comfortable.
-Property is small but extremely peaceful & well maintained
-The food is included in the price & is great quality & variery
Negative:
-The A la carte menu should be better & have more options. Its very limited

Overall a very good experience
