Had a perfectly comfortable stay here late last year when on assignment in the town. The accommodation is absolutely fine and not bad value for the price. Slightly perplexed to see other reviewers using the words "luxury" and "castle". HDC is not a castle and nor is it luxurious whether by Indian or international standards. However, rooms are clean and there's plenty of hot water, so they do the important things well. Most of the staff are very friendly too, and more than willing to help with arranging taxis etc. Town and the station are not as close as some places, but entirely within distance. The little resto on the ground floor is great for breakfast and dinner (NB the waiters are very slow and rather forgetful - at least over the two nights we stayed). All in all, a perfectly fine stay. Would have stayed longer but they were full our last two days in town, so we walked to the hotel next door and stayed there, which was in the same price range and just as pleasant, perhaps even nicer.

Worst hotel, outside the city everything is far from this. In addition to staff is very rude and not supporting. Cleanliness issues. Wifi they have claimed not working and getting disconnected in every 5 min. Not good for FAMILY.

Hotel is very new and the interior atrium style with water features in the lower levels is very impressive. Hotel is close to the airport but the only disadvantage is that there is no where to walk to outside of the hotel. Rooms were modern, comfortable, clean and a reasonable size. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were also very helpful and accommodating and I did not have to wait any time for check-in or check-out. Only drawback was that the hotel restaurant does not have a license to serve alcohol so I moved my meal to my room and got some beer on room service, staff completely understood and very helpful. I hope you can resolve the licensing issue soon. Great breakfast buffet with North Indian, South Indian and continental food.

I guess i would rate this hotel very highly as it is a complete value for money . Very comfortable,excellent service ,good people , as luxurious as you can get for the money that you are paying . Food was ok . Totally satisfying experience . In other words you get more than what you pay for . I would highly recommend this hotel to all .
