Two and three story buildings surround a large well tendered garden .The rooms are a decent size and have heating as well as air -conditioning.

Reception is efficient and the friendly Front office Mgr, Mr T.N.Singh,arranged the rooms for our group all close together as we had requested.

Buffet Breakfast is mostly Indian which suits us fine as we;re very fond of Indian food. The only negative: Hot water is frequently unavailable.

We had our evening meals in the Old City at Annapurna restaurant. Almost all the clients were locals. Locals know where to eat best and we enormously enjoyed South Indian Thalis,Dosa ,Dahi,etc.
Our transport was again ,and as usual ,very efficiently arranged by Ajay of ACME TOURS INDIA (sachin@acmetours.com).The vehicles were modern, clean and punctual and the drivers spoke quite enough English to know where we wanted to go and at what time.

Friendliness and courtesy of staff was abundant. The cuisine in the restaurant was delicious. The Spa treatments were of a high quality.The ambiance of the restoration of the palace (a work in progress) and the climate was invigorating.

With an outstanding customer service this hotel had stolen my heart. This is one of the best hotel in Varanasi. I will recommend this hotel strongly for all of you guys.

Lovely spacious room with a real double bed, the bathroom was decent too, but could have benefitted from more lighting. Breakfast was a nice buffet. On the negative side wifi is not free and this hotel is situated rather far from the ghats, transport to them can take a long time.
